REFUND/RETURN POLICY

If you adopt an animal from us and pay an adoption fee, if you return that animal to us within 30 days your money will be refunded in full. After the 30 days we will always take any animal adopted from us back, during its whole life, but you will not get your adoption fee back.

PRIVACY POLICY

We do NOT share any of your personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of the Humane Society unless one of the circumstances listed below apply.

We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of the Humane Society when we have your consent to do so.

• For Legal Reasons

We will share personal information if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:

• meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
• enforce applicable contracts and policies and, including investigation of potential violations.
• detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues.
• protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of the Humane Society’s employees, volunteers and Board of Directors, or the public, as required or permitted by law.
• share with a court, probation officer or other involved person if you are doing court-appointed community service. We will share with a school if you are doing school community service.

We DO add your name and address to our own mailing list. We DO use pictures of animals adopted from us for our website or other media purposes. We may write stories, without your name mentioned, about the circumstances surrounding your animal before and after adoption.

ANTI-DISCRIMINATION POLICY

It is the policy of the Humane Society – Western Region to attract and retain the best qualified people available without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or veteran status.

All employees or volunteers must be capable of performing the tasks required due to the physical nature of the work. They must also adhere to safety standards.

Discrimination or harassment based on any of the above factors is prohibited, as is retaliation against a person who has made a complaint or given information regarding possible violation of this policy.
